Firefighters were summoned to a warehouse at 2 Nice-Pak Park off Route 303 in Orangeburg, NY and found smoke pouring from the 380,000-square-foot building that also houses Nice-Pak offices. Nice-Pak manufactures baby wipes and pre-moistened towelettes.
Pete Byrne, an assistant fire chief for the Orangeburg Fire Department said the building’s sprinkler system had activated before firefighters arrived and contained the blaze.
